My boys' hair can't be tamed because they all possess double crowns, so the best hairstyle is short and neat. However, this time around I let their haircuts go a little longer so that they could spike their hair up with gel for the disco. Unfortunately, Thomas was sick and didn't end up going but Daniel was all for the gel! He kept asking if it was still spiky and advised that I should drive carefully so as not to mess his hair up. So cute!
Sam attended with Thomas last year, and since Sam was on canteen duty, I assume Thomas just ran straight off and found his friends. Daniel was a little more reserved. Eventually, he left my side. But can't say there were any wild shenanigans from my boy and his posse. No, they were more interested in food (they had three sausage sandwiches each!) than girls or dancing hehe. And the highlight was fashioning glo sticks into belt buckles...wish I had grabbed a pic, it was cuteness overload.

I think Daniel and Kye were a little overwhelmed with the whole event, although Lincoln didn't stop all night...not sure if he was dancing or just running around but he seemed to be on the move the whole time! 10 years down the track and I could be writing a very different school disco post, but for now I'll just smile fondly at the cuteness that was the 2012 school disco :)

Oh too cute for words! I love their little hair dos. It is the same with my boys - its all about the hair. Dont you just love watching them at these type of things and seeing how they soak it all up and interact with their mates :) Precious times! xxx
ReplyDeleteSo cute. My boys rocked some green mohawks at one school disco. Can't remember what the theme may have been...
ReplyDeleteSo cute that he didn't want to mess up his hair! Bless x
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of my boys and their school discos, a million years ago. I can just picture little Lincoln running around... as that's all the boys did back then, that and gel their hair!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job Cathy, The photo's look great they all look so cute !
ReplyDeleteYes i think your right 10 years down the track might be a whole new ball game...lol
